Corneal Topography

Corneal Topography is a procedure used to monitor and measure the shape and integrity of the cornea of your eye, and changes that may occur in it. 

Why Doctor may ask for this Exam?

Doctor may ask for this Exam for the following cases:

  • Patients seaking Refractive Surgery.
  • Patients with keratoconus (screening)
  • Post Surgery Astigmatism
  • Post Cataract Surgery
  • Post Keratoplasty 
  • Effects of Corneal and Ocular surface disorders 
  • Contact Lens flotong, intracorneal rings.

What will happen during this Exam?

During the test you will be seated infront of a device that will take a photo of the corneal surgface for each eye at time. 

How much time does it takes?

This test takes between 3 to 5 minutes.
